What this service is

Taxooor is an independent comparison site and information service. We publish what tax authorities themselves write about crypto transactions, quoted word for word with the URL and the date the page was read, and on request we reply to questions with the same quotations. We are not tax advisers, we do not recommend a course of action, and we are not affiliated with any tax authority, exchange or software vendor.

How we are paid

No tax software vendor, accountant or exchange can pay us to be named on this site, to be linked from it, or to be placed above anyone else: there is no sponsored slot on any page and no link here earns a commission today. If that changes, the affiliate relationship will be disclosed on every page carrying such a link before the first one goes live, the links will be marked as paid, and no quotation, absence or ordering on this site will depend on it.

Using the crypto tax index

The Taxooor Crypto Tax Index is free to reuse with citation. Quote a treatment with the jurisdiction, the authority, the date shown and a link back to the page you took it from, and quote the authority's own sentence rather than our arrangement of it. The quotations themselves belong to the authorities that published them and are reproduced here for reporting and comment.

No warranty

Every quotation is taken from an official page on the date shown, and authorities change their guidance. A quotation is also not the whole of the law: guidance is not legislation, it does not bind a tribunal, and it cannot know the facts of your case. Read the linked source and take advice before acting. The service is provided as is, without warranty; nothing here is tax, legal or financial advice.
